Does Anyone Use Audacity?

I'm trying to get a podcast going and since I don't have much money lying around I decided to use Audacity, which is free, for recording it. Unfortunately, after downloading and installing the program, I realized that it isn't very accesible. Does anyone on here use Audacity and if so, do you have any advice on how I can make it work for me. If not, is there any more free reThanks.

Ya, I can help you, just talk to me over aim. It's accessible for recording and converting file formats, just not editing.

You can use Goldwave which is shareware, so you can use most of the features for free, but then the cost to purchase is pretty low, like in the $30-40 range.

I have a blind friend who uses it and she has no trouble with it. She's suppose to show me how to use it sometime but she edits, and so on and she's blind so I don't know.
